Day 22: My Everyday Salad Dressing

I love salads. I can literally eat them every single day for lunch with a smile on my face. What I love most about my salads is that you can throw a little bit of everything in there and it's still delicious. I put cucumbers, mini sweet peppers, carrots, spinach, apples, chickpeas, pistachios, raisins, some sort of cheese, chicken/steak... basically it varies with whatever leftover protein I have from the night before and anything in my vegetable drawer. When I eat a salad, I need one that is more than just lettuce and that actually holds me.
The one consistent thing in my salads is the dressing I put on it. I don't buy my dressing from the grocery store because normally it's filled with things that I can't pronounce and that takes away from the fresh veggies. I like to keep it nice and simple with an olive oil/apple cider vinegar mix. The seasonings you add is up to you- whichever one's you prefer. When I'm meal prepping my lunches for work, I made a jar of this so I can just pour some in my dressing Tupperware and not waste time making it every day.
Enjoy!

*Ingredients
1/4 cup Olive oil
3 TBS Apple cider vinegar
Salt/pepper to taste 1/4 tsp
1 TBSLemon juice
1/4 tsp Oregano
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tspOnion powder

*Directions
Add all ingredients to a bowl and add salt/pepper to taste. Whisk until combined and store in air tight jar- I used a large mason jar. If you use a mason jar, add all ingredients to it. Tighten jar lid and shake to incorporate ingredients. Shake jar before every use to ensure ingredients are incorporated.
